Nissan Sunny diesel sedan launched in India at a price of Rs 7.98 lacs
Japanese car manufacturer, Nissan Motors launched diesel variant of their Sunny sedan in India earlier today. Nissan Sunny diesel sedan is now available in India for a base price of Rs 7.98 lacs (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). Nissan has launched Sunny diesel in two variants, Sunny Diesel XL and Sunny Diesel XV. Sunny Diesel XL is now available for Rs 7.98 lacs whereas Sunny Diesel XV is available for a price of 8.78 lacs (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Powered by a 1.5L 4 cylinder diesel engine, Nissan Sunny diesel sedan offers best in class ARAI certified fuel economy of 21.64 kmpl. Nissan has built Sunny on their global V platform. The engine generates maximum power of 86 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 200 Nm torque at 2,000 rpm.
This is the first time in the world that Nissan Sunny is available with a K9K diesel engine. Nissan Sunny diesel sedan is only available with 5 speed manual transmission option, automatic gearbox is not available as of now. Nissan Sunny diesel is available for booking at all 47 Nissan dealerships in India.
Color options for Nissan Sunny diesel include, Brick Red, Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, Storm White, Blade Silver, and Bronze Grey. Features bundled with the new Sunny are EBD – Electronic Break force Distribution, brake assist, ABS – Anti-Lock Braking System, airbags and engine immobilizer.
