Nissan Sunny facelift, Friend-Me Concept displayed at Auto Expo

Nissan Sunny facelift is on display at the 12th Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The much awaited Sunny facelift receives a host of cosmetic improvements though it retains its powertrain options as seen in its earlier counterpart. Apart from this, there are other Nissan cars like the Friend-ME concept on display at the Auto Expo.

Nissan Sunny facelift gets a number of safety features which include ABS and EBD along with brake assist as standard features. Its top end variants also get front and side airbags. Exteriors of the new Sunny sport a larger grille, restyled bumpers and chrome accents around fog lamps and a central airdam. The new Sunny also receives auto folding door mirrors and sits on new 15” wheels.

Engine options include a 1.5 liter petrol engine belting out 99 ps peak power while a 1.5 liter K9K diesel engine is also offered with peak power of 89 ps. It is this diesel engine that is also seen on board the Evalia, Micra and Logan. No prices have been announced as on date, nor did they mention a launch date.

It is muscular in appearance and aggressive in stance and is an instant appeal to buyers in the younger generation. Nissan Friend-Me concept is powered by PureDrive hybrid powertrain which includes a 2.0 liter petrol engine in combination with an electric motor.
