The facelifted Nissan Sunny sedan (called Nissan Almera in Thailand) is seen with a well designed front grille adding greater depth and dimension to the sedan, while headlamp design is also modified. New fog lamps and various chrome accents were also noted in the facelift. Nissan Sunny facelift sits on 15” alloy wheels and a new rear bumper design in a boomerang shape and dual color tone was also evident.
Interiors sport various infotainment and comfort features in the form of a Piano Black instrument cluster, new steering wheel design, twin bubble dashboard besides 2-DIN radio with 6.1” touchscreen DVD player and a redesigned center console.
While external and internal features have been vastly modified on board the new Nissan Sunny facelift, engine details remain same in the form of a 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. Prices of the facelift have also been increased marginally with prices in Thailand ranging between 433,000-608,000 baht (Rs 8.4 lakh to Rs 11.7 lakh).
