Nissan Sunny facelift is launched in Malaysia at starting price of 64,960 Malaysian Ringgit (Rs. 11.25 lakhs or $18,260). Interestingly, the Japanese carmaker has also added Nismo version of the sedan, alongside.Although the carmaker introduced Nismo package for Almera, it is mostly cosmetic and no change is done to engine or other mechanicals except suspension. Nismo styling package features rich & aggressive bumpers with highlighted chin spoilers & side skirts, special trunk lid spoiler, sporty exhaust and 16-inch alloy wheels shod with 205/50 Continental tyres.
The strictly cosmetic Nismo treatment for Nissan Almera is priced at 9,000 Malaysian Ringgit (Rs. 1.56 lakhs or $2,530). Including revamped exhaust and suspension system, the Nismo kit costs 14,000 Malaysian Ringgit (Rs. 2.42 lakhs or $3,935).
Standard facelift version of Nissan Almera is essentially the same updated model selling in India and China. It is differentiated from earlier version by new grille, fresh bumpers, redesigned headlamps, new chrome trims, fresh alloy wheels, improved steering wheel, contrast piano black centre console and better seat upholstery. Almera for Malaysia adds an Android-based 6.5-inch touchscreen navigation system.
