Nissan Motor Company has previewed new Sway Concept ahead of its public debut at soon-to-commence 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the Japanese automaker, Nissan Sway Concept throws light at how it would look when the brand’s new design language is applied to a European hatchback, or to put it differently, Sway Concept is a sneak peek at future generation hatchbacks from the company’s stable.
Reports around have already said that next generation Micra will be subjected to a new design template, given that current generation model failed in European market due to its mundane appeal, for starters. So the next-gen Micra should at least look bright when it launches next year in all-new avatar.
Nissan mentioned in their statement that innovative design and product planning that spawned the Nissan Juke and Qashqai will be applied to the small hatchback as well. Which means, the upcoming next-gen Micra will most probably be based on the versatile (Common Module Family) CMF platform.
This is where the Sway concept comes in. Striking new aggressive styling of Sway concept is to give a direction to all small cars in the future, from Nissan Motors. At first glance, the Sway does look impressive, but we could only say more once it is officially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
