Nissan Sway unveiled at 2015 Geneva Motor Show (Updated gallery)
Nissan Sway concept has been unveiled, showcasing the design direction the Japanese carmaker is headed towards, in restarting its game in the volume hatchback segment.
The new design language is absolutely striking and bears no similarity with currnet generation Nissan Micra. To repeat the success story of Juke and Qashqai, Nissan Micra is headed for a strip down and redressing, to look a lot like the Sway concept. It is not made clear how much of the Sway will be passed on to then next generation Micra, but the V-motion grille and boomerang headlamps must be ticked in the list to begin forming a new appeal of the compact hatchback.
One of the key highlights of Nissan Sway concept is the way colour coordination is carried out between exterior and interior elements. The car is coated with ‘bluish dawn grey’ with subtle blue and contrasting orange touches, while the interior receives darker and deeper blue shade accompanied by ivory and orange colours harmonising with outer trims.
The gliding wing shaped dashboard of Nissan Sway is another notable feature, which has originally come from Nissan IDx coupe study (show car) unveiled at 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.
