Vespa VX and Vespa S scooter launch in Nepal by Piaggio India

Italian two-wheeler maker, Piaggio India, along with local authorized distributors D-Lifestyles has launched Vespa VX and Vespa S scooters in Nepal on 12th August 2015. Unveiled by Mr. Stefano Pelle, Managing Director, Piaggio India Vespa VX is priced at NPR 2,49,946 while the Vespa S model is priced at NPR 2,63,946.

In attractive colors and innovative design, the two scooters will target younger generation of buyers while it will change the way people move in Nepal. Both the Vespa models launched in the country are powered by an efficient 125cc 3 valve engine. They are fitted with disc brakes, tubeless tyres and single piece monocoque steel body and will receive many more features to ensure instant attraction.

Vespa VX is available in colors of Lime Yellow, Portovenere Green, Dragon Red, Monte Bianco White and Midnight Blue while the Vespa S will be available in colors of Taormina Orange, Monte Bianco White, Dragon Red and Matt Black. It is with these attractive colors that D-Lifestyles, a conglomerate of Dev Jyoti Group, official dealers for Vespa in Nepal are sure that the models will find favor with the youth in the country that have a distinct style of their own.

Vespa VX was launched in India in July 2013 priced at INR 71,380. The scooter receives a 125cc 3 valve single cylinder four stroke petrol engine offering 10 PS power and 10.6 Nm torque with power being sent to the wheels via a CVT box. It possesses a fuel tank of 8 liter capacity promising range of 400 kms on a full tank. Vespa S on the other hand was launched in India in March 2014 and while engine and transmission remain the same, the model receives red suspension at the front while squarish headlamps are also evident to tell it apart from VX model.
