Prince Monaco’s Classic car collection of Bentley, Mercedes AMG, Citroen, Volkswagen, Renault, Ford and many more up for auction (Photos & Video)

During his reign, Prince Rainier III of Monaco owned a classic car collection of over 100 cars. The ruler had a passion for classic cars and collected some remarkable models during his life. Now his son, the sovereign Prince of Monaco, HSH Prince Albert has decided to put some of these cars on auction which will take place at the end of next month in Monaco.

Auction House Artcurial Motorcars has been entrusted with this auction which will have some of the best models including cars and military vehicles among the offerings. The auction will be held at Museum Terrasses de Fontvieille in Monaco on the 26th of July and will see a rare 1925 Citroen Cabriolet 5HP, a 1913 Panhard X19 besides some Bentley, Mercedes, Ford, Dodge, Citroen, Renault, Peugeot, and many more models will be going under the auctioneers hammer.

All the cars on auction will have a personal set of Monegasque papers held in the name of Prince of Monaco. The cars will have no reserve price. The Mercedes 500 SEC is a personal favorite of HSH Prince Rainier and should fetch between $18,800 to $31,300 while the 1913 Panhard X19 is valued between $31,300 to $43,872.
