Raj Singh Rathore takes Polaris RZR S 800 to 2013 Mughal Rally
Mughal Rally is scheduled for June 28 to 30, 2013. It will be accomplished across an 84 km stretch of Mughal Road and will cover a distance of 600 km in its way to J&K. June 27th is allocated for documentation and scrutiny of technical condition of vehicles taking part. The RSR S 800 has been specially designed to make it fit for this off roading adventure. It possesses a 760cc twin cylinder engine offering 52 bhp and this engine has been placed at the rear behind passenger seat so as to offer better stability and to lower the center of gravity.
This is the first time that Polaris India will be participating in this event though the company has entered into other such competitions such as Raid de Himalayas, Desert Storm and Dakshin Dare. The Moghal Rally will have two versions – Xterme and Enduro both running consecutively. While the former will be a Stage Rally, the latter will be a Regularity Test with winners set to receive prize money Rs lakh each in each catregory.
Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., “ We Indians are showing more inclination and interest towards adventure sports. This has opened a wide scope of opportunity for the off-road vehicle industry to gain success. Mughal Rally is a fully packed adventurous journey and we are happy to be a part of it. Even though, this is our first time at the Mughal Rally, I am confident that we will emerge with flying colours as we have done in other similar events previously. We are excited and confident about our Atv’s and are prepared to win the top spot with our ace product, RZR S 800.”
