When a conversation revolves around Rajnikanth, the superstar’s fans always have epic stories to tell. Comes as no surprise then that the wait for Kabali, hasn’t just gotten all of Chennai on their toes. Ready for release next week (22nd July, 2016), this month has certainly seen those in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia too take note of the film.
A fan has been taking his Lamborghini Gallardo around town and it’s a moving Kabali showcase. It’s new skin brings together Kabali posters and works as a great promotion effort. Not sure though how big the Thalaivar’s fan base is in Kula Lumpur. Nevertheless, W707M is sure to make people look.
The Tamil gangster-drama film is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. Alongside, Rajinikanth, Taiwanese actor Winston Chao stars. Actors Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan, and John Vijay play important roles. While parts of the film were shot in Chennai, a major part of the filming was done in Malaysia. Scenes were also shot in Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Expected to be released in Tamil worldwide, Kabali will be released in Singapore and Indonesia. Malaysian Malik Streams will release the film in Malay for screening in the country. Earlier, AirAsiaIndia came on board as official partner for Kabali and painted a few of their planes with a Kabali theme.
