New Land Rover Evoque Crossover SUV was first launched in India in early November 2011 as a completely built unit (CBU), with plans to assemble it at the unit at Chikli near Pune.
Finally, the company has started CKD operations of one of their best selling cars in the world, Evoque in India. This has also resulted in a massive cut of price. Range Rover Evoque CKD price in India will now stand lowered by up to Rs 20 lakh across Pure, Dynamic and Prestige variants.

Pure – Rs 61.45 lakhs (Rs 48.73 lakhs ex-showroom, outside LBT)
Dynamic – Rs 65.95 lakhs (52.40 lakhs ex-showroom, outside LBT)
Prestige – Rs 70.63 lakhs (Rs 56.21 lakhs ex-showroom, outside LBT)

Pure – Rs 81 lakhs
Dynamic – Rs 87 lakhs

Apart from price reduction, there are new added features. This includes addition of reverse camera and navigation across all variants – Pure, Dynamic and Prestige. Contrast roof, which was not available earlier on Pure, will now be available across all variants. Top end Prestige gets rear seat entertainment and surround camera.
Engine options continues to remain same 2.2l diesel generating 188 hp power at 5200 rpm and 420 Nm torque at 2000 rpm. Transmission is taken care by a 9 speed auto, delivering power to all 4 wheels. The petrol coupe variant with 2.0l engine continues to be offered as a CBU.
The above price is for the same model which was launched in 2011, and not the facelift which premiered last month. Evoque facelift launch is expected to take place in 2016.
