Land Rover India has launched the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible in India. Only offered in one variant – HSE Dynamic, this is the country’s first convertible SUV to be launched. It is a two door model and receives a smaller boot unlike that seen on the five door hard top Range Rover Evoque.
Range Rover Evoque Convertible shares some details with the existing Range Rover Evoque where underpinnings, powertrain options and features are concerned. On board features include adaptive Xenon headlamps, LED DRLs, a radiator grille, air intakes and redesigned bumpers.
Wheel arches and ORVMs get black treatment while the SUV sits on black alloy wheels. Longer than the regular Evoque, the Evoque Convertible measures 4,370mm in length and sits on a 2,660mm wheelbase width is at 1,990mm and height stands at 1,609mm along with a boot space of 250 liters. Interiors are done up in black and sport perforated Windsor leather seats, ambient lighting and a 10” touchscreen infotainment system.
Evoque Convertible is also seen with power folding and heated door mirrors, puddle lights and rain sensing windscreen wipers. Features also include keyless entry, front parking assist and surround camera system.
Range Rover Evoque Convertible is powered by a 2.0 liter petrol engine only. This 2.0 liter Si4, four cylinder, petrol engine offers 237 bhp power and 340 Nm torque mated to a 9 speed automatic transmission.
It gets a retractable soft top roof which are painted in black along with it’s a Pillars while the lower body gets a bright shade of orange. Price starts from Rs 69.53 lakh, ex-showroom.
