Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black is India’s most expensive SUV at Rs 3.75 crores

Rs 3.75 crores is the price of the Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition diesel variant in India while the petrol variant goes to Rs 3.83 crores.

Developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Engineered to Order – ETO Division, the Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition is the most expensive SUV currently on sale in India. Built on a long wheelbase, legroom at the rear is increased by 7.3 inches as compared to that seen on the standard Range Rover.

Interiors are seen in the finest of leather in a host of color options that include Ebony and Lunar, Espresso and Tan, and Dark Cherry and Ivory, while front seats receive massaging facility. The driver’s seat is powered and receives 18 way adjustments while rear seats are inclined and offer lumbar massage, calf massage and 10.2” infotainment screens displaying both navigation and entertainment.

Central console has seat heating, climate controls and a chiller for champagne while there are tables that can be deployed. These tables have leather surfaces with holsters for champagne glasses. Powered door blinds, mood lighting and USB charging posts are also part of its interiors.

Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition sits on 22” glossy aluminium alloy wheels. Chrome accents are seen on its tailgate while tail lamps are in a novel design. Engine specifications include a 4.4 liter SDV8 diesel engine offering 339 hp peak power and 740 Nm peak torque while there is also a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 petrol engine offering 510 hp peak power and 625 Nm peak torque. Both engines are mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission.
