Regal Raptor motorcycles, a US based brand which has a network across the world. In India, the brand was officially unveiled in February, at the 2015 Hyderabad Auto Show earlier this year.
Designed by Johnny Pag, Regal Raptor motorcycles range in India includes Daytona 350, Bobber 350 and Cruiser 350. These bikes will be brought into the country via CKD route by FAB Motors and will be assembled locally. From today, Regal Raptor bookings open in India.
Each of the three Regal Raptor models in India will be powered by a 320cc, four stroke, twin cylinder engine offering 22.9 bhp peak power at 8,500 rpm and 22 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to 5 speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 60 kmph will be achieved in 3.5 seconds while top speed stands at 130 kmph.
Opened for bookings at a down payment of INR 50,000, Cruiser 350 is the most affordable bike priced at INR 2.96 lakhs while Daytona 350 is priced at INR 3.22 lakhs and Bobber 350 has a price tag of INR 3.33 lakhs.
All models sport 300mm front disc brakes and 240mm rear disc brakes while fuel tank is of 15 liter capacity on board the Daytona 350 and of 14 liter capacities on the other two models. The main differences lie in body types and designs.
Besides sales in India, the company also plans exports to countries such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and UAE.
