Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to launch their new Vitara Brezza in India. To be offered in six variants- LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, and ZDi+, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will compete with Mahindra TUV300 and Ford EcoSport on launch in India.
New Vitara Brezza measures 3,995mm in length, 1,790mm in width, 1,640mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,500mm. It is powered by a 200 DDiS diesel engine offering 88.5 bhp power at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm torque at 1,750 rpm mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. The company hints of a petrol variant of the Vitara Brezza later on, which may include the GDI 1.0 liter three cylinder BoosterJet turbocharged engine. Apart from this, Maruti is also working on adding AMT gearbox to the Brezza

The new Maruti Vitara Brezza, is built on the new Suzuki Global C platform which not only makes it lighter but structurally stronger. Exclusively conceived, designed and developed in India by the Maruti Suzuki R&D Team headed by Chief Engineer CV Raman, the Vitara Brezza will go on sale at regular company dealerships and not through NEXA dealers as was seen in the case of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross.
Highlights of Vitara Brezza are projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16 inch alloys, dual tone colour options, Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera, Airbags, ABS, high ground clearance, powerful 90 PS / 200 Nm engine, etc.
