Renault’s budget new Dacia Duster SUV, interior and exterior photos

Slated to make its world premiere this fall at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the revised Duster will be seen with both cosmetic and technological modifications along with a large number of safety features added to its makeup.

Exterior modifications of the 4×4 will come in the form of a revised front and rear end design. The model will also see a redesigned grille with two chrome plated strips and a new housing, low air intakes and double optic headlights along with daytime running lights.

Roofbars will have slatted supports and the Duster will sit on new 16” Dark metal alloy wheels and Mud and Snow tyres. Other exterior updates also include a chrome plated tail pile with 4WD lettering and a new name plate trim. Exteriors will have a new body color in the form of Comète Grey, completing the exterior updates.

Interiors will also seen major changes, clearly continuing with exterior styling as the dashboard gets a redesigned look with center console flanked by two vertical surrounds. Cabin is in a dark color scheme while seats have been redesigned for added comfort and comes in a choice of four new colors and one in leather.

Where technology is concerned, the new Dacia Duster SUV gets latest in multimedia, navigation and safety features, which includes a 7 inch touch screen Dacia MEDIA NAV and SATNAV system with functions such as radio, media, phone, Bluetooth connectivity and 2D and 3D displays. The Dacia Plug& Radio feature comprises of MP3 compatible CD player, jack and USB plugs on the dashboard. Safety features abound in cruise and speed limiter located on central console while it also includes rear park assist with sensors so as to prevent the SUV from colliding with rear obstacles and display a warning signal to driver. The facelift model comes with power window control and one touch function situated on the driver’s side for easy access.

The Dacia Duster also gets a TCe engine rated at 125 hp along with two versions of a 1.5 dCi engine offering 90 or 110 bhp along with a three-year/100,000-km warranty, as is seen in all vehicles in the Dacia range.
