Watch Renault Duster SUV taking on the world’s most dangerous road

Munish Sharma managed to successfully take his Renault Duster SUV through one of the most dangerous road in the world. He also managed to record a short video which shows us how dangerous the route is.

The video showcases the most insane Himalayan route across the Alwas-Killar Road. The video that showcases the world’s most dangerous road. The road is narrow, terrain is rugged and even the slightest misjudgment would send travelers plunging down into the most treacherous of ravines. It is for this reason that tourists have dubbed the track as the Almost Killer Road which was accomplished in a Renault Duster.

Despite the dangers it presents, it did not stop a set of adventurers from tacking this route which is at a height of 14,500 feet. The journey from Killar in Pangi Valley started off from Shimla to Pangi valley via the Saach pass and onwards to Kishtwar, Kashmir.

The 6 km route near Tyari was the most dangerous of all with the road so narrow that no buses or trucks can drive on this stretch while the road after Tyari was also equally challenging taking 4 hours to cover the last 30 kms. Despite the dangers, the beauty of Kashmir and Himachal was drawn to the fore while rain and snow along the route added to the dangers.

The five day trip commenced at Shimla reaching Killar on day 2. Day 3 saw the adventurers get an early start and drive to the village of Hudan Bhatori at 3,400m while they encountered snow in Pangi causing them to drive back via Pangi to Doda, Kashmir. While the team started back to Chamba the road was blocked with 2 ft of snow and had to be cleared with JCBs.
