We say RXT (O) is one of the most VFM variants because it gets most essentials and then some styling and visually enhancing elements as well. On the outside, Renault Kiger RXT (O) gets 16” alloy wheels, LED reflector headlights, LED tail lights, a rear washer and wiper, roof rails and an option for a dual-tone roof as well.

Other changes include addition of a slew of safety features with BS6 P2-enforced Renault lineup last month. These include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This is commendable by Renault as these safety features are now standard fitment across the variant lineup of all its models.

In effect, Renault’s most affordable Kwid’s base variant gets TPMS, ESP, TCS and HSA. Something which its Maruti Suzuki rivals don’t offer even on their top-spec variants. Except for hill hold with AMT variants.
