The facelifted Duster will be equipped with AMT.

The new Renault Kwid accessorized concepts called Climber and Racer will be on display at the Auto Expo 2016 in addition to the Duster facelift, Lodgy Special Edition and the Eolab hybrid concept. The French automaker’s stall will also showcase¬†the RS01 F1 race car and a Duster Sport edition.

The main highlight of the Renault Duster facelift will be the new AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). Cosmetic changes would include revised headlamps and grille as well as reprofiled bumpers. The crossover is also expected to offer new exterior color options. The interior is expected to continue largely unchanged.

The Duster facelift would feature noticeable cosmetic changes upfront (note: Image of pre-facelift car is used for representation).

The 1.6-litre petrol engine and 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine (available in two states of tune) would be retained as they are. The updated model would be hoping to regain some of the ground lost to the brisk selling Hyundai Creta.

The Kwid Climber and Racer concepts would be demonstrating the highly successful budget car’s ability to adopt customization. We are also expecting Renault to debut the more powerful 1.0-litre version of the Kwid with AMT at the Auto Expo 2016.

Renault has registered a sales growth of 20% in 2015 compared to the previous year. With the full potential of the Kwid to be realized this year, the company is looking forward to an even higher growth rate.
