Based on CMF-A Platform, Renault Kwid hatchback receives a Duster inspired front, which has led many refer the Kwid as Baby Duster.

Speaking about the new launch, Renault Kenya Brand Manager, Jonathan Dos Santos said that Kwid has unmatched features and price tag, as compared to similar models in the market currently. Kwid receives features like Renault MediaNAV, FM Radio, Sat-Nav Bluetooth and a 7” touchscreen interface.

“This is a perfect car that symbolizes dynamic performance, robust strength and a taste of adventure. Its SUV-inspired stance offers a high driving position and greater visibility. Whizzing around city traffic or zooming down the highway, Renault KWID is the ideal car for you”, said Dos Santos.

Renault started operations in Kenya back in 2014. They have invested USD 1.7 million till date in the country. All Renault cars sold in Kenya are CBU. Until now, only 117 units have been sold by Renault in Kenya. This number is expected to grow exponentially in the coming days with Kwid now on sale.
