Renault Kwid Outsider Concept unveiled in Brazil
Showcased at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show, Renault Kwid Outsider Concept is a show car developed by Renault Design Latin America (RDAL) especially for the event. It is on display along with the Renault Duster Extreme and Sandero Extreme RS Grand Prix Concept, detailing its exterior makeup, interior specifications and on board infotainment features.
Renault Kwid Outsider Concept receives added styling over the Kwid. It is seen with black plastic cladding and larger wheels along with silver skid plate and roof rails.
Distinctive by its fluorescent green accents on its orange colored body, the Kwid Outsider Concept is strikingly similar to Renault Kwid Climber Concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in India earlier in February.
Interiors of the Brazil spec Renault Kwid Outsider Concept receives a central console which has been modified while window control buttons are positioned beneath the 7” MEDIANAV display. It is also its door lock and rear defogger button that is positioned below the window controls.
Powering the Kwid in Brazil is a 1.0 liter 3 cylinder engine which delivers 68 PS and 91 Nm. The launch of Renault Kwid in Brazil is scheduled for mid-2017 when it will enter production at the São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, the same unit from where the Sandero, Logan and Duster are produced.
