Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy, the most powerful variant of the compact hatchback, has been officially unveiled. To be sold in 20 countries across five continents, dealers will initiate orders in France from early June 2014, with Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy estimated to come in at a base price of €38,000 (INR 30,96,426, $52,120).

Fuel efficiency is pegged at 7.5 liters per 100 km while emissions are rated at 174 g of CO2 per km.

Performance updates on the new Mégane RS 275 Trophy will include a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic, Road and Track dampers with steel springs from Öhlins and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres which have been specifically designed for use on this exclusive model. Buyers can also opt for 19” black Speedline Turini wheels.

Interiors exude exclusivity with leather and Alcantara Recaro bucket seats with red accents, Renault Sport badging on headrests and steering wheel encased in Alcantara.

To be sold in five continents to include Australia, UK, Malaysia, Germany and South Africa, it may be noted that US markets are not among the list.
