Revolt electric motorcycle has finally been launched in India. Claiming to be one of the most advanced two wheeler in the world, the new Revolt e-bike comes in three variants – RV300, RV400 and RV400 premium. Price starts from Rs 3k/month, Rs 3.5k/month and Rs 4k/month respectively. You cannot buy the Revolt electric bike by paying full amount. You have to buy it as a monthly emi plan.
Where specifications are concerned, the RV400 electric bike gets an all LED headlamp and a fully digital instrument console with 4G connectivity. The Revolt app offers remote start. It comes in with in-built geofencing technology allowing for remote locating of the bike and a set perimeter for it to operate in. It comes in with four artificial exhaust note options with the possibility of OTA updates.
The RV400 has also cleared ARAI tests of gradient ability, battery output, battery life, shockproof and waterproof along with weather resistance and nail penetration tests. Apart from being India’s first ever electric motorcycle, it is the advanced features on offer with this machine, that are its highlights. Revolt electric bike offers a battery range of 156 kms and claims a top speed of 85 kmph. It gets upside down forks in the front and monoshock at the rear while in terms of braking it receives disc brakes at both ends with Combined Braking System offered as standard.
The RV400 gets an inbuilt charger so that one can charge the bike from anywhere via a 15 amp charger in a matter of 4 hours. It also gets a portable battery for charging via a home socket and one can swap a depleted battery at any of the Revolt Motors swapping stations.
