Revolta Motors teases new EV before 2016 Delhi Auto Expo debut

Bengaluru based start up Revolta Motors Private Limited will be unveiling a range of emission free electric motorcycles and scooters at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.

2016 Auto Expo, the biennial automotive event to be held from February 5-9, 2016 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida will see some first timers such as Force Motors, Jeep, Abarth and Dhasan Moto. Apart from these established brand, there are also a few who will be unveiling vehicles for the first time. One such brand is India’s Revolta Motors. Based in Bengaluru, Revolta Motors will also be showcasing a range of new electric bikes and scooters.

Though there is not much information about their product line-up, Revolta Motors state that their range of bikes and scooters have top speed of 60 kmph while batteries can be charged upto 80% in 2.5 hours. Revolta Motors ensures that these bikes will have a range of 80 kms when fully charged thereby offering 100% emission-free personal transport solutions for urban commuters.

Revolta Motors range of bikes and scooters are designed for both style and efficiency, along with offering affordable urban transportation solutions. The product highlights include zero emission technology, offer long range and low running costs while maintenance costs are minimal. Rapid acceleration promised on Revolta models ensures better efficiency specially when tackling crowded Indian road conditions. Revolta Motors claims that their products will bring a revolution in the Indian electric vehicle space.

Even as Revolta Motors will be showcasing their range of products at the 2016 Auto Expo, there is no confirmation as to when the products will enter the market or when the actual sales will commence. Once officially launched in Indian markets, Revolta Motors will have to contend with Hero MotoCorp with Hero Electric being actively sold in this space.
