RM Auctions in top gear in 2012


1955 Ferrari 410 S BerlinettaA 1955 Ferrari 410 S Berlinetta sold for $8,250,000, A 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Scaglietti Spider sold for $6,526,800, 1939 Horch Erdmann & Rossi Special Roadster sold for $5,170,000 while a 1912 Oldsmobile Limited five passenger Touring sold for $3,300,000 along with a 1952 Ferrari 225 Sport Spyder Tuboscocca sold for $3,263,400.

These were among the host of many other notable and record breaking auctions that RM Auctions Group of Companies conducted during the past year generating over $360 million in total sales. This makes RM Group foremost collector car auction company. The group conducted sales of over 3000 vehicles at 20 various events in four countries.

In Europe, the company saw healthy demand for 50s and 60 competition cars while the same aplomb was felt in North America where sports cars and racing models were more in demand. The year 2012 proved for RM Auctions to be highly noteworthy, proving that the company was a force in the collector car market.
