Rolls Royce registered a sales figure of 3575 vehicles for 2012 which is the best sales result in the brands 108 year history. Demand for the Rolls Royce brand increased after the British car maker introduced the Phantom II series which was met with a lot of enthusiasm from those opting for bespoke vehicles.
Rolls Royce boasts of a lineup of 6 vehicles, of which two make up the Ghost family and four variants are included in the Phantom family. These sales results have allowed the company to strengthen its position as top supplier of ultra luxury vehicles. Sales growth in many regions have been registered which has enabled the brand sell a number of its vehicles in this segment.
Markets of China and USA remained indispensable to the brand while markets in Saudi Arabia, Germany, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Middle East reported increased sales percentage of 63%, 15%, 21%, 18% and 26% respectively. Bespoke personalization is a forte for the brand as nearly every Phantom vehicle and about three in four ghost variants left Roll Royce workshops infused with elegant customization and hand craftsmanship. Rolls Royce will also be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and it will be opening an extension to it Goodwood plant in England to help meet rising demand for these vehicles.
