Royal Enfield Classic 350 modded to be a Scrambler
Dochaki Designs, Pune-based custom bike builders have taken the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and turned it into a Cafe Racer called Maverick. The design firm was approached by the owner of the bike who desired a customized bike but could not explain exactly what he was seeking.
Dochaki Designs team took two months to customize the bike with the end result being totally satisfying both for the team and its owner.
Maverick, built by Dochaki Designs is a scrambler. It receives an extended swing arm capable to withstand larger tyres while brake linkage, chains and other parts have also been modified. The chassis has also been changed to offer higher ground clearance while new mounts for shocks at the rear have been incorporated into the design. Seat and handlebar has been redesigned to allow for more comfort over long distance travel.
A new tank with 20 percent more capacity has been fitted to the Maverick for longer distance between refills while sides of the tank has been designed to stand on the pegs during offroading thereby offering better support as well. Modifications to front mudguard include easy removability while offroading while seat has been done up in faux black leather offering both added rider comfort and better visual appeal.
The Dochaki Design team worked extensively on its paint job giving the Maverick three different colors in layers with use of masking and taping to reveal an unusual design. The paint job included design accents inspired by the movie Top Gun as per client’s demands.
