Royal Enfield Classic 350 single seat launched to rival Jawa Perak

It is often seen that buyers of Royal Enfield bikes head straight to aftermarket customization specialists directly after delivery. These aftermarket installations render the warranty null and void which causes some constraints to the owners. To counter this issue, Royal Enfield has introduced ‘Make Your Own’ initiative.

Under this, the first motorcycle Royal Enfield has launched, is a single seat variant of the Classic 350. With the Jawa Perak launched yesterday, this new factory fitted single seat Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the perfect rival to the Jawa Perak.

Not only single seat, owners will get many more options for their bike, straight out of the factory. For now, only buyers of the latest Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be able to opt for this new initiative. The two colours on offer are Mercury Silver and Pure Black. Prices start from just Rs 1.45 lakhs, ex-sh.

This initiative is rolled out in 6 cities of Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune and at 141 dealerships and offered exclusively on the new Classic 350. It is the first of its kind personalisation service which will get factory fitted accessories right at the time of booking the bike. These selected accessories will be installed at the factory itself and will be genuine and homologated as per government and RTO norms.

These accessories include a special pair of ARAI compliant alloy wheels, different seat designs and leather options, fuel tank decals or stickers, panniers styled in military fashion with commanding air fly engine guard, etc. A notable fact is that the selection of these factory fitted accessories not only personalizes the bike to one’s own liking but also ensures that the warranty is not affected. These factory fitted customization options come with a 2 year warranty offered right from the booking stage.

For a start this introduced ‘Make Your Own’ initiative is offered on the Royal Enfield Classic 350. This bike retails at Rs.1.46 lakhs and is presented in two color options of Mercury Silver and Pure Black. Once this initiative proves to be a success on this Classic 350, it will be extended to other RE models in a phased manner.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 single seat gets the same engine with the 346cc single cylinder, air cooled engine offering 19.80 bhp power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
