Earlier in March, Chennai based two wheeler manufacturers, Royal Enfield introduced optional alloy wheels for the Classic and Thunderbird range, the company is now offering a wide range of aftermarket accessories for the Classic 350 and Classic 500 motorcycles.
Initially offered with spoked wheels, rise in demand along with accidents due to poor quality aftermarket accessories made the company introduce 9 spoke alloy wheels for the Classic 350 and 500. These alloy wheels, which are priced at Rs.10,000, are fitted at the time of delivery, require no additional modifications and come in with 2 years warranty.
These accessories not only enhance the looks of the bike but also augment riding comforts. They also provide better protection to body parts. The touring accessory kit comprises of pannier mounting kits to the left and right priced at Rs.1,600 and Rs.1,200 respectively, soft panniers for the right at Rs.3,300 or at Rs.5,500 per pair, luggage rack in chrome and black finishes priced at Rs.2,850 and Rs.2,400 respectively along with touring seat for rider and passenger priced at Rs.2,150 and Rs.1,850 respectively.
The list also includes low seat for rider at Rs.1,800, seat covers for rider at Rs.700 and for rider and passenger at Rs.850. There is also a windshield embellisher kit at Rs.1,500 and the most expensive of all the accessories, a clear windshield priced at Rs.5,000.
The accessories that enhance protection for body panels includes a headlamp grille priced at Rs.1,200, crash guards in an octagonal shape in chrome and black finishes priced at Rs.2,500 and Rs. 2,300 respectively while the trapezium shaped crash guard with black finish is priced at Rs.2,100. Crash guard with air fly in chrome and black finishes are priced at Rs.3,550 and 3,750 respectively while the straight finished crash guards in chrome and black are priced at Rs.2,500 and Rs.2,200 respectively.
The list of accessories also includes a water resistant body cover in blue and black priced at Rs.900 and Rs.975 respectively. Machine oil filler caps in silver or black are priced at Rs.775 while the front reservoir cap in silver or black are priced at Rs.675. Each of these parts is available at all authorized Royal Enfield dealerships in the country as well as on the official website.
