Royal Enfield is about to launch their most expensive motorcycles in India, the 650 Twins. These new motorcycles are expected to be launched from a price tag of Rs 3 lakhs. This is about double the price tag of their best-selling bike, Classic 350. With the Continental 650 and Interceptor 650, the Indian bike maker is entering a new segment of motorcycling. For this, they require new-age brand ambassadors, who can market their products to the right audience.
Biking aficionados in the country seeking employment with Royal Enfield just gets easier as the company is hiring sales executives. A notice issued to this effect draws attention to the company’s alliance with Sewells MSXI, a subsidiary of MSX International, a leader in auto retail businesses with over 6,000 employees in 80 countries.
Royal Enfield seeks applications for sales executives in locations such as Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin and Ahmedabad. The basic requirement for applying for the posts has no bar on age or educational qualifications. However, the applicants need to have good communication and spoken English while knowledge of the regional language would be an advantage.
The appointment of Brand Ambassadors would include two rounds of interviews with Senior Management at Royal Enfield following which intensive training will be imparted to those selected. The Brand Ambassadors would be responsible for liaison with customers, explanation of the Royal Enfield brand ethos and imparting knowledge about the new 650 Twin motorcycles being launched by the company.
The applicants should also be good riders with the ability to ride high end motorcycles for the purpose of demonstration. Compensation being offered by Royal Enfield includes CTC of around Rs 4-5 lakhs per annum depending on location. These terms would be relaxed for exceptional candidates. The appointment will offer both high growth opportunities. Travel and stay expenses as has been approved by Royal Enfield.
The Brand Ambassadors would be responsible to show off the advantages of the new launches as compared with competition and to assist in demo and test rides with company sales dealers. Those with experience of working at KTM, Harley Davidson, Triumph, Indian, Ducati, Hyosung, BMW Motorrad, etc will be preferred.
Royal Enfield gears up for launch of the two 650 Twins – Continental GT 650 and Interceptor INT 650. Prices were announced on Wednesday with prices at USD 5,799 (Rs 4.21 lakhs) and USD 6,749 (Rs 4.90 lakhs) respectively. The two models will go in sale in India by November.
