Royal Enfield modified as a naked sports bike – Gets Metzeler, ABS, and much more

It escapes me why someone would buy a Royal Enfield only to spend a significant amount of money to transform it into a naked street fighter! Nevertheless, it has to be said that this one right here is a rather interesting mod-job based on a Royal Enfield Bullet 350.

To put it simply, this motorcycle is everything that a Royal Enfield doesn’t stand for. For starters, it has none of the thumper’s retro classic appeal. Save for the instantly recognizable powerhouse with RE logo, there is nothing in common with stock motorcycle.

The fuel tank seems to have been borrowed from a regular street bike while the tank extensions, tailpiece, two-piece seat, and mudguard appear to be custom made (or borrowed from an assortment of small capacity motorcycles that are not on sale in India).

The builder has employed several custom made components to facilitate the marriage of the new body with Royal Enfield’s chassis. The motorcycle features upside-down telescopic front fork, a near-flat handlebar typical of a street-fighter, an edgy exhaust canister, alloy wheels, Metzeler Sportec tyres, eccentric instrument dial, custom footpegs and so on. We will let you be the judge of the silver, grey and blue color theme.

In its stock avatar, the 350 cc single-cylinder unit is good for 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 5-speed unit. But, this engine has been tuned for performance.

Though power output figures are not available, it is claimed that the modified Royal Enfield 350 sportsbike is good enough to taken on KTM Duke 200 at the least, if not the KTM Duke 390.
