2014 Aria facelift features retuned 2.2L VariCOR engine that produces 150 PS max. power and 320 Nm peak torque. Same VariCOR engine is shared by Safari Storme but in older state of tune, that was also seen in previous version of Aria, producing 140 PS max. power and 320 Nm peak torque.
Other belts and whistles worn by 2014 Aria are HARMAN sound system, new map & navigation system, dual zone air conditioning with climate control, improved 4×4 drive system, cruise control facility, automatic headlamps with black bezel, tail lamps with transparent cover, automatic / rain sensing wipers and new body graphics. Some of these features can be expected in refreshed Safari Storme.
We recently spotted Tata Safari Storme being tested in Pune with an auxiliary fuel tank fastened near fuel lid. It looked like Tata was testing it as an additional accessory, but it is unclear if it had a different purpose. If additional fuel tank is indeed an accessory, it would certainly come in handy for off-road enthusiasts.
