Sahara Force India team drivers for 2012 will be announced before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Vijay Mallya

Sahara Force India driver Adrian Sutil came in 9th at the recently concluded Indian F1 race which took place at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. After receiving two points for his 9th place win, the racer hoped that his Team Principal and Managing Director Dr. Vijay Mallya was equally contented with his performance. Paul di Resta finished the race in 13th place.

Sutil said that though he had to struggle with the car in the initial laps with problems with its rear end, he did manage to gain control over the vehicle resulting in a 9th place win, gaining 2 points for his team.

Resta said that the team chose a more aggressive approach for the premier Indian Grand Prix and though they had to struggle with hard tyres, the plan was to come in early. He congratulated Sutil on his winning points for the team, which is very valuable for the Constructors Championships. Vijay Mallya is content with the points scored by Sutil and said that he would be taking a decision for drivers for next season just before Abu Dhabi race.

I am satisfied with the way things went.” “Regarding my decision about the 2012 drivers, I have said this week that I will give an answer to the drivers before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. I already have three excellent drivers, who are all in the running, and the decision ahead will not be an easy one.” “The Abu Dhabi track should suit us. We are still ahead of Toro Rosso and are confident of finishing sixth in the season.”
