Skoda Auto India sold 1400 vehicles in January 2015, down from 1600 units sold in January 2014, equating to 12.5 pct sales decline. Skoda Auto India delivered 15,500 vehicles to customers in 2014, down from 22,600 sold in 2013, equating to overall yearly sales decline of 31.41 pct. Sales in December stood at 1300 units, down from 1800 units sold in Dec 2013, equating to 27.7 pct sales decline.
Skoda Auto India will provide smart offerings to ensure that ownership experience is affordable and hassle free. The bundle package for customers offers benefits for a 4 year period to include service assurance, a finance offering, along with Road Side assistance program and extended warranty.
The offer is available only on Skoda Rapid Ambition sedan (manual transmission in diesel and petrol variants). The 4 year period maintenance scheme is available at a notional price of Rs 8000, and aims to provide customers an enhanced ownership experience at an affordable cost.
In addition to the offer on Skoda Rapid Ambition trim, the auto manufcaturer will also offer a finance scheme across the Rapid model range for its manual transmission variants and petrol automatic variant at an interest rate of 7.99 pct for a period of 3/4/5 years. Skoda Auto India will provide finance offerings through VWFS (Volkswagen Financial services). Offers are valid for bookings made at dealerships up to 28th February 2015. 4 years of roadside assistance includes 2+2 years of RSA, and 4 years of warranty includes 2 years manufacturing + 2 years of extended warranty.
