Skoda Auto India sales for 2017 were reported at 17,438 cars sold, up 30 percent from CY 2016. Following a successful year, Skoda Auto India Q1 2018 sales stands at 4,200 units. This accounts for 7.3 percent growth, up from 3,900 cars sold in Q1 2017.
Skoda Auto India Q1 2018 sales breakup – The company sold 1,300 vehicles in January 2018, up 13.8 percent from 1,220 vehicles sold in January 2017. Deliveries through Feb’ ’18 stood at 1,400 vehicles, up 16.8 percent from Feb’ ’17 when 1,200 cars were sold. March 2018 sales are down 4.6 percent at 1,500 vehicles, down from 1,600 cars sold in March 2017.
Despite a slow-ish March, Skoda Auto India Q1 2018 sales remains positive owing to double digit sales growth through Jan and Feb.
The company today inaugurated the Bhoomi Cars dealership, a 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facility in Patna. Ashutosh Dixit, Director – Sales, Service & Marketing, Skoda Auto India, and Rahul Kumar, Dealer Principal, inaugurated the showroom.

Bhoomi Cars will strengthen the brand’s position in Bihar, and in eastern market. Skoda will open five new dealerships in the next 6 months. Bhoomi Cars is located at Bailey Road, and is built over 4379 sq. ft. to accommodate a six car display. The service facility is located at Danapur Khagaul Road, and is spread over an area of 11211 sq. ft.
