Skoda India invests Rs 120 cr for its largest rebranding campaign – Video

Skoda Auto India has given its dealer network a shot in the arm. The boost ensures confirming with corporate identity and design. Its dealer network reflects premium and aspirational new CICD following an investment of over Rs 1,200 million alongwith its dealer partners.

The rebranding activity results in dealerships that are friendly, bright, inviting, and customer centric. Work has been carried out across 63 sales and 61 service touch points across 53 cities in accordance with new Corporate Identity and Design (CICD).

In line with project ‘INDIA 2.0’, corporate architecture, functional interiors, and rationalized business processes have been reworked to improve customer experience. Dealership design architectural concept reflects the brand’s ‘philosophy, “Simply Clever with a human touch”.

Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service, and Marketing, Skoda India Pvt Ltd. said, “Skoda has successfully rebranded its entire network of dealership facilities with a Fresh, Modern, and ‘Simply Clever’ layout that elevates the presentation of the brand and is an important cornerstone of the Skoda led ‘INDIA 2.0’ project.”

“Through our redesigned dealership network we are focusing on strengthening the brand in India while working closely with our channel partners to guarantee sustainability. The transformation of our sales and service facilities, envisioned to provide enhanced customer experience, is rated positively by our customers, dealer partners, and sales and service personnel.” added, Mr. Hollis.

Skoda Kodiaq Scout is scheduled for launch on September 30, 2019. With more off-road focus, the trim is likely to sit above Kodiaq L&K top-spec trim. The addition of off-road specs will act as a differentiator from other trims.

Kodiaq Scout sits on 19-inch alloy wheels, and has better approach and departure angles owing to increased ground clearance of 194 mm, 6 mm more than seen on the standard variant. ‘Snow’ drive mode, and ‘rough road’ package are on offer. Skoda Kodiaq Scout features a front and rear skid-plate. Wing mirrors, grille and roof-rails are decked in silver bits.

Globally, the brand is now ready to introduce its AI-based virtual assistant. Named Laura, it will debut in the Kamiq city SUV and the Scala hatchback. ‘OK Laura’ is a wake-up command, and the system understands six languages – English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Czech.

Laura virtual assistant will be made available with the brand’s top of the line, Amundsen infotainment system. The Amundsen infotainment system features a eSIM as to enable internet connectivity.
