Debuted at 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, Skoda Fabia began production at Skoda’s main plant in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, towards the end of August, 2014. It was launched in four versions – Fabia standard, ‘Fabia Monte Carlo’, ‘Fabia Edition’ and ‘Fabia Combi’ in estate body type.

Underpinned by Volkswagen’s MQB architecture, 2015 Skoda Fabia is lighter than the model it replaced by good 65 kgs. The new model has 17 new features, of which 9 are completely new, including new Skoda MirrorLink system allowing mirroring of connected smartphone’s screen on Fabia’s centre infotainment screen. Improved cabin room and boot space are also part of highlights of new Fabia, apart from totally revamped exteriors with styling cues taken from latest iteration of Octavia.
