Skoda India has signed a MoU with Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd (OAIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ORIX Corporation, Japan. The development introduces monthly lease rental for Skoda vehicles at an entry price point of Rs 19,856. Lease options will be made available to a wide group of people – salaried individuals, working professionals, SME-s, corporate entities, and public sector units/undertakings (PSU-s).
Skoda leasing solutions are flexible and gives users the choice of availing lease for up to five years for a Rapid, Octavia, Superb, and Kodiaq. In the 1st phase, the lease program is available in 8 metropolitan cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad. A nationwide rollout will ensue in the subsequent phases.
Skoda vehicles can be leased in the aforementioned cities through OAIS’ existing business network and Skoda Auto dealer partners in first phase. This new development is in line with Skoda ‘INDIA 2.0’ project. Skoda Auto leasing solutions brings with it a range of benefits and services: road tax, insurance, breakdown assistance, accidental repairs, end-to-end maintenance, scheduled tyre and battery changes, and a replacement vehicle.
