Skoda Superb EasyBuy launched in India with 57 percent buyback value

Skoda India has introduced an ‘EasyBuy’ assured buyback program for the new Skoda Superb, the company’s flagship sedan which is priced from Rs. 23.99 – 33.50 lakhs; ex-sh. Skoda’s Financial Services offers customers 100 percent finance and upto 40 percent lower EMIs for the 3 year period thus allowing for a hassle free ownership experience.

Called as the ‘EasyBuy’ program, customers can buy a brand new Skoda Superb at an EMI which is on par with a car in a lower segment. The program also offers an assured introductory buyback value of 57 percent for a new Superb at the end of a 3 year contract period.

At the end of this 3 year period, the customer could return the Skoda Superb to the dealer with no further liability while the customer could also retain the Superb by paying off the outstanding amount. The customer is also given the option to re-finance the Superb for another contractual term.

Superb facelift leaked

Speaking about the Superb, it is offered in petrol manual, petrol auto and diesel auto variants. Petrol engine is a 1.8 liter TSI unit which delivers 180 PS and 320 Nm while diesel motor is a 2.0 liter unit which delivers 175 PS and 350 Nm.

In other news, Skoda Superb facelift has been spied undisguised on test. It has been confirmed for launch sometime later this year. The facelifted Skoda Superb will come into India a few months after its global debut. It will be assembled at the company’s plant in Aurangabad.

Skoda Auto’s CEO Bernhard Maier also confirmed that a plug-in hybrid version of the executive sedan will also be launched in India by the end of 2019. Skoda Superb facelift will come in with several design updates. It will receive angular headlamps, new bumpers and interiors will also receive some styling elements though engine lineup is said to remain unchanged. It will rivals like Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
