Launched last month in India, new Skoda Superb is now available at a price range of INR 22.68 lakh to INR 29.36 lakh. At the ongoing 2016 Geneva Motor Show, a more sportier variant of the Superb is on display, which has not been launched in India.
Skoda Superb Sportline comes with a special red colour which is seen on the Monte Carlo editions of the brand. Apart from the new red colour, exteriors of Skoda Superb Sportline also gets matte black grille, blackened headlamp and taillamp cluster, new 19 inch alloys, piano black finish on the roof, tinted rear windows and rear windshield, roof spoiler on the bonnet and a lowered chassis (by 15mm).
On the inside, Skoda Superb Sportline gets all black treatment. Highlights include perforated leather cover on steering wheel, flat bottom three spoke steering wheel, carbon fiber inserts on the dashboard, piano black inserts on the steering wheel, center console and gear lever, new instrument panel with black, white and red colour combo, new sport seats with integrated headrests, etc.
The Skoda Superb Sportline is on offer with the top of the line engine options of 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TSI. The former generates 190 PS and 400 Nm while the latter generates 280 PS and 350 Nm. Transmission options include manual as well as DSG automatic.
