Skoda Yeti SUV facelift launch price Rs 18.99 lakhs

Skoda Yeti IndiaAs compared to the outgoing variant, the new Yeti does have a few bold changes for itself. To start with, the front now comes with a more sharper look, thanks to Skoda’s new trademark grille. The foglights have shifted down, unlike in the case of older Yeti, where they were just besides the headlights. There are also new alloys (Dolomite design for 4×2 and Forest design for 4×4), LEDs tail-lights in C shape, and larger faux diffuser in silver finish under the bumpers (front and rear).

Interiors too come with changes. The driver seat is now electrically adjustable, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, start/stop button, and new 3 spoke steering wheel. Surprisingly, you will not find a USB port, or a sunroof.

Power to the new Yeti comes from VW’s trusted 4 cyl 2.0 diesel engine in two tunes 110 PS and 140 PS. The 4×2 comes with the 110 PS while the 4×4 comes with 140 PS mill. Unlike the outgoing Yeti, facelift comes only in top-end Elegance trim in both drive options. So, only two trims are on offer, and that too top end one’s. This shows Skoda is targeting an elite set of customers with the new Yeti, buyers who want to stand out from the crowd.
