SML ISUZU XM Series Truck and buses India launch

SML ISUZU LIMITED (Formerly Swaraj Mazda), joint venture between Sumitomo Corporation, Japan and Mazda Motor Corporation, Japan set up in 1983-85 has now strengthened their commercial vehicles portfolio in India. SML forged an alliance with ISUZU MOTORS way back in 2006.

SMLI broadens its product portfolio in India with its XM series vehicles. New SMLI XM Series vehicles use an improved engine for better fuel efficiency, and higher torque to benefit customers with fuel savings and operating cost reduction. Higher torque improves acceleration on gradients.

SMLI in full cooperation and collaboration with their Dealerships in Delhi NCR – M/s. Metal Tech Motors (Pvt.) Ltd., M/s. Indersons Motors, M/s. H.K.S. Motors (Pvt.) Ltd. and Authorized Spare Parts Distributors – M/s. Asiatic Agencies and M/s. Auto Parts & Co., Delhi NCR made the launch announcement last week.

Super 12.9 XM 12990 GVW Truck has a payload of 8500 kgs, and is fitted with a wider Cargo Box. Available in both 5.18 Mtrs. (17’) and 5.80 Mtrs (19’) options include Steel high side, and half side cargo box.

COSMO XM Series Truck has a 3.048 Mtrs 10’ Cargo Box Truck), smallest in its segment. Improved maneuverability offers a high fuel advantage. Design language ofXM series S7 buses is worth a mention. XM series buses offer fuel efficiency and effective air conditioning system in case of AC Buses.

All other XM Series will also be made available to customers by March – April 2014. FR 1318 with seating capacity of 40 seats will be launched shortly. SML ISUZU LIMITED XM Series Trucks are available with all registered Indian dealers and are available ta a price of Rs. 13 lakh onwards.
