SoftKinetic has unveiled an advanced in-vehicle gesture-based infotainment solution based on SoftKinetic technologies and Freescale silicon. The solution significantly improves driver safety and functionality courtesy higher focus on the road and intuitive navigation of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system, which uses gesture recognition.
SoftKinetic’s iisu® 3D gesture recognition middleware supports both full body and finger/hand tracking being compatible with most 3D depth sensing cameras. It’s optimized for high performance using minimal CPU and memory resources, and aims at greater driver safety and less distraction.
