Both XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure, are based on the X100 Concept. ‘XIV’ here stands for “eXciting user-Interface Vehicle”. Speaking about the two teasers, XIV-Air features an open roof and a similar body to as of X100. On the other hand, XIV-Adventure lives upto its name and is more aggressive in stance with enhanced bodykit and ideally suited for offroading adventures with prominent bumpers and solid roof rack. Both XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure are follow-ups of 2011 SsangYong XIV-1 Concept based on the brand’s philosophy of “Robust, Specialty and Premium”, using design theme “Nature born – 3 Motion”.

Both these concepts sport wraparound front and rear lights, a wide yet slim front grille and muscular bumpers. Apart from different alloy wheels, XIV Adventure will stand apart due to its green finish, roof rack, underbody protection and a storage compartment attached to the bootlid.
