If you thought Hyundai was the only auto company Koreans were proud of, think again. Here comes SsangYong Motor Company. This auto company known for its line of pickups, trucks, SUVs and MPVs has showcased its new line of vehicles at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

The vehicle that’s earning SsangYong praises at the Motor Show is the coupe styled SUV, XIV-2 Concept. First sight and you know the massive machine is the offering of an Asian Manufacturer. The front of the SUV is similar to the angry look portrayed by an Asian in a martial arts movie. The slit headlights enhance the Asian persona of this stylish vehicle.

This SUV is equipped with a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, and has a 6-speed manual gearbox. The XiV-2 is extremely fuel efficient. Although there has been no news about a production model based on the XIV-2, auto experts believe 3-door and 5-door variants that borrow heavily form this concept are in the making.
