Tokyo Auto salon 2013 is scheduled from 11 to 13 January 2013 at Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in Chiba, Japan. Subaru is eagerly awaiting these dates as they have a host of new car launches waiting in the sidelines for display at this prestigious auto show. Their lineup at the show will include Forester and BRZ concepts besides production and racing cars.
Subaru BRZ Premium Sport Package will be seen at the show, fitted with a carbon roof, 19” BBS prototype alloy wheels, a STI aero kit and customized interiors. Forester is also to be displayed as a Sport Concept where it will be seen with STI parts including spoiler, front grille and suspension with 20” BBS wheels. Subaru is also planning an XV Crossover with much the same upgrades as seen in the Forester.
Apart from this, the Japanese car maker has announced that it is the only auto manufacturer with 2013 IIHS Top Safety Picks for all their models. All Subaru models have been listed as IIHS TOP SAFETY PICKs. Their Legacy and Outback models have also been added. To feature in this list, vehicles are rated on the basis passenger protection tests on the basis of good, acceptable, marginal or poor. To be in the favored list, vehicle must receive ‘good’ ratings on all counts.
