The seven year old scooter from Suzuki has been trying to stay in trend through special editions and now the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has come up with a facelift version. There are no profound changes in new Access 125, just minor touch ups here and there.
Suzuki Access facelift features new Access badge, steel front fender, tubeless tyres, central locking system with safety shutter, chrome plated silencer cover, aluminium pillion grab rail, new maintenance free battery. Colour options include Candy Antares Red, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Sonic Silver, Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey and Glass Sparkle Black.
New Suzuki Access 125 is powered by same 124 cc 4 Stroke, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled engine with Over Head Camshaft (OHC), producing 8.58hp @ 7,000 rpm and 9.8 Nm @ 5,000 rpm, and sending power to wheel via Continuously Varying Transmission (CVT). Engine can be started by kick and self starters. Fuel tank has capacity to hold 6.0 litres of petrol, remaining space under seat is given for utility purpose, a 20 litre storage box.
Access facelift gets telescopic front fork with coil spring and oil damping mechanism. Rear suspension is swing arm type also with coil spring and oil damping. Front and rear tyres measure 90/100-10, both get drum brakes. Suzuki Access 125 weighs 112 kg and has ground clearance of 160 mm, seat height of 780 mm and wheelbase of 1,250 mm.
