The exhibit is essentially a spruced up JDM kei car.

While Suzuki stall houses a host of exhibits at Tokyo Motor Show the sportier version of JDM spec Alto called Alto Works is a major attraction.

JDM Suzuki Alto Works gets a turbocharged 3 cylinder 660 cc petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission (offering short throws) sending power to front wheels. This engine is capable of 51 bhp peak power and 63 Nm peak torque. Its sporty chassis tuning with direct steering allows for better cornering ability, says Suzuki.

Exteriors of JDM Alto Works shows off a sporty body kit, large air dam, fog lights and multi spoke alloy wheels. It is also side sill extensions, red brake calipers and chrome bezels seen on the car that adds to its sportiness. The car is finished in grey and has a red “Works” decal on the front windshield.
