Suzuki Burgman 125 scooter (Activa rival) dealer test drive starts – Hindi Review

Ahead of the launch on 19th July, Suzuki Burgman 125 has arrived at dealerships for first look and test drive.

Suzuki Motorcycles India is all set to introduce the new Burgman Street 125 on 19th July 2018. The Honda Activa rival scooter was showcased at 2018 Auto Expo.

Set to be India’s first maxi scooter, the Suzuki Burgman will be positioned above Access 125 in the company line-up and will directly compete with Honda Activa, Honda Grazia and Aprilia SR125.

The new Suzuki Burgman 125 gets features among which are an aggressive front apron, angular headlamps, sharp shoulders and a fully digital instrument console. It also sports an LED headlamp and tail lamp while the maxi scooter sits on black colored alloy wheels.

The Burgman 125 gets front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, best in class under seat storage space with a 12V charging socket and an extra long and comfortable seat. It also comes in with telescopic front forks and monoshocks at the rear.

Engine specifications on the Suzuki Burgman 125 are the same as that seen on the Access 125. This 124cc, single cylinder engine offering 8.5 bhp power at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm mated to a CVT.

Prices are expected to be around Rs 68,000, ex-showroom. Bookings have opened at company dealerships at down payment of Rs 5,000. Those interested, can also book a test ride before paying booking amount. More details about the scooter will be revealed upon launch.
