(Maruti) Suzuki Ciaz Urban Concept – 2016 Indonesia Auto Show

 

The Indonesia-spec sedan features black interior color theme.

The Suzuki Ciaz Urban Concept which is essentially a mildly accessorized version of the regular variant is being showcased at 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The exhibit aims to promote personalization of the sedan.

The cosmetic enhancements on the Ciaz Urban Concept include chrome accents for secondary air dam, fog light enclosures, rear bumper reflector enclosures and boot appliques. The sedan also features a sporty rear spoiler and side skirts.

The Ciaz Urban also features a sporty rear spoiler, side skirts, and carbon fibre-like decals on the B-pillar with “Ciaz” branding. Inside, the all-black dashboard (India-spec version features dual-tone black-beige color theme) remains intact and the seats are upholstered in dual-tone fabric.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz for the Indonesia market is powered by the 1.4-litre K14B petrol engine which produces 92 PS and 130 Nm of torque. Both 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions are on offer.

Feature highlights of the fully-loaded GLX variant include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, keyless entry and go with push button start, security alarm, side impact beam, automatic climate control, infotainment system with Bluetooth and steering mounted controls, projector headlamps and so on.

The Suzuki Ciaz competes is pitted against the Toyota Vios and Honda City in the Indonesian market.
